The main function it’s to support our body and make our locomotion! It is “stuck” in the axial skeleton and has 126 bones.
We can basically divide into upper and lower limb, where:
– In the upper limb we divided into 4 groups:
- Hand and fist,
- Forearm,
- Arm,
- Shoulder girdle.
In total, this part has 64 bones.
– The bones of the lower limbs can be divided into:
- Foot and ankle,
- Leg,
- Thigh,
- Pelvic waist.
And, in total, it has 62 bones.
